The hill-top village overlooking the plains below has been classified as “One of the Most Beautiful Villages in France”. It has retained much of its old character with a number of village squares, cobbled stone pathways, narrow passages and medieval buildings. The village is also proud of its connection with the artist - sculptor Max Ernst who spent his later years here and is commemorated at 'la maison de Max Ernst'.
Seillans has a good baker, butcher, a small grocer, post office, a Credit Agricole ATM and restaurants. The nearest supermarket (Super U) is at Fayence. Both Seillans and Fayence have public tennis courts and swimming pools.
Seillans is the perfect holiday location due to its reliable weather, close proximity to numerous sporting activities and also several highly respected restaurants.
